Looking for an afternoon cocktail spot or to dine al fresco with friends & family coming in from out of town?
Here’s a list of some of the best patio spots in Charleston.
Fuel Charleston | A Caribbean-style restaurant located in the Cannonborough/Elliotborough neighborhood downtown, their patio is dog-friendly and has a great happy hour.
La Farfalle | A gorgeous Italian restaurant off of King Street has a sunny patio with large tables to enjoy wine and house-made focaccia at. They also have an amazing wine list if you are looking for a special bottle.
Xiao Bao Biscuit | This asian-inspired restaurant has creative dishes and wonderful cocktails. Enjoy the sunshine with a low key bite to eat at their picnic tables out front.
Frannie and the Fox | One of my personal favorites, their outdoor patio is just beautiful. Part of hotel The Emiline, this lovely spot is perfect for an afternoon Aperol Spritz.
Coterie | Their patio is filled with flowers in full bloom currently, and their menu is full of craft cocktails. The Staycation cocktail is pretty incredible.
Herd Provisions | Their focus is ethically-sourced ingredients, and they will accommodate any wishes. They not only have a wonderful wine list but a grocery store and butcher shop that is sure to impress.
Cleats | a new sports bar downtown located at the Refinery. It has local beers, cocktails and a great menu. The outdoor patio is also dog friendly.
